A Conversation with Barbara Wright
The Cape Fear Literacy Council will host Barbara Wright, Author of NEA Big Read Companion title, Crow, as she delves into research, process, and storytelling.
Crow is a work of historical fiction that explores the events of the Wilmington Insurrection of 1898 through the eyes of 11-year-old protagonist Moses, a young boy who lived through the ordeal with his family.
This event is free and open to the public. Seats are limited, and reservations are required.

Cape Fear Literacy Council is a community partner of the NEA Big Read: Cape Fear, joining UNCW’s Office of the Arts and Randall Library to promote literacy in Wilmington and the broader Cape Fear region.
