Book Drive & Sale Event Details
You can help raise funds to sustain CFLC’s adult literacy programs this holiday season!
In partnership with Hi-Wire Brewing Wilmington, CFLC’s Friends of Literacy Books Committee is hosting a holiday book drive. Drop off your new and gently used books at the Literacy Council or Hi-Wire from now until December 5.
THE BOOK SALE (a family-friendly event!) will follow on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Taproom at Hi-Wire Brewing (1020 Princess St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
- Cugino Forno Neapolitan style pizza will give back 3% of all CFLC sales during the event
- Hi-Wire will donate $1 from each sale of a selected beer
- Proceeds from book sales will support Cape Fear Literacy Council’s adult literacy programs

Thank you for considering a book donation! Please review our donation guidelines to see what we can accept before bringing us your books. This will help us keep as many books as possible out of landfills.
