Alesha Edison Westbrook, Director of Communications at CFLC, is a marketing and communications professional (and a bona fide word nerd!) specializing in helping nonprofits use impactful strategies to share their most captivating stories. With more than fifteen years of nonprofit fund development experience, her career focus has been serving charitable agencies with a tangible community impact.
Edison Westbrook has been at the Literacy Council since 2016, when she joined the staff as Non-Instructional Volunteer Coordinator and later served as the Communications and Development Coordinator. A charismatic writer and stylistic editor, her articles and other works highlighting CFLC’s programs and initiatives have been featured in the Greater Wilmington Business Journal, WILMA Magazine, and the Atromitos Big Ideas Blog.
Outside the office, Edison Westbrook is committed to nurturing a “growth mindset” in young people. She is a Girl Scout Leader and mentor, a band booster, and a recovering P.T.A. president passionate about the enrichment and education of children and young adults.
