Cape Fear Literacy Luncheon June 28

WILMINGTON — Cape Fear Literacy Council will hold its eighth annual Literacy Luncheon, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. June 28 at Pine Valley United Methodist Church 3788 Shipyard Blvd.Participants will have lunch, see a performance by CFLC’s Readers’ Theater, and a humorous and educational presentation of “Our Slippery Mother Tongue: A Light History of English” by keynote speaker Elliot Engel, author and lecturer.
