Thank you for your interest in serving as a Table Host for the Luncheon for Literacy!
Table hosts commit to filling a table of eight with family, friends, neighbors, and associates interested in learning more about CFLC and supporting our work. All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Council’s adult education programs, keeping them free for our students. We appreciate your support for our mission!

Sample Guest Invitation Letter or Email | Dear [NAME], I’d like to invite you to the Cape Fear Literacy Council’s Luncheon for Literacy on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. I am sponsoring a table for the event and am hoping you will be able to join me! The Cape Fear Literacy Council (CFLC) is an award-winning nonprofit organization that provides FREE, individualized literacy services to adults in the region. For over thirty-eight years, the Literacy Council has helped thousands of adults in our community achieve their personal and professional literacy goals… and change their lives! This year, I decided to be a host because I truly believe in the Council’s vision: a community where all adults have the language and literacy skills they need to succeed. The keynote speaker for the event is humor columnist, author, and North Carolina native Celia Rivenbark. Celia is a long-time friend and supporter of the Cape Fear Literacy Council, and I am very excited to hear her speak. I hope you can make it! [Your Name] |
