are many ways to make a difference through the Cape Fear Literacy Council. We
offer a monthly orientation session, "CFLC 101," to explain
what we do, how we do it, and the different ways to get involved. Please contact
us to register for an orientation session.

The Spelling Bee
is in September and the Auction is in March
of each year. Many hands make light work at these fundraising and awareness-raising
events. |
| Bulk mailings: |
Join our crew of faithful volunteers who
come out 3-5 times per year to help us with large mailings. |
| Other: |
We are always looking for new ways to involve interested volunteers in
the efforts of the Literacy Council. Sometimes we need one-time Field
Trip Guides for ESL class outings; sometimes we need Job Mentors to work
one-on-one with students who have specific, short-term job goals; sometimes
we need help translating documents. There are many possibilities. Call
us!
