2008 Mardi Gras Gala & Bid for
Literacy Auction was a wonderful event and a fundraising success.
Mardi Gras Gala
a Wilmington tradition for over 20 years, Cape Fear Literacy
Council's Mardi Gras themed charity auction is a fun-filled evening of glitz,
glamour and good times! The festivities, held at the Coastline Convention Center,
begin with a silent auction and heavy hors d'oeuvres, followed by the always
lively Bid for Literacy vocal auction.
The
2009 Mardi Gras Gala committee has already started to plan for an exciting gala
and auction. Please check this website for more details about the 2009 Gala
